If you use acrylic colors, which are more dense and which risk drying out quickly inside the tool forming a rubbery film, the use of a cleaner liquid is absolutely essential.

If by any chance the cleaning liquid ends up in the middle of a working session, it is possible to replace it by using a common one for cleaning windows (Quasar, Vetril and so on) or alcohol, but it is always better to use these alternative methods only in case of emergency. With the appropriate cleaners, in fact, you can be sure that the components of the airbrush will never be damaged in any way.
